This course can be tailor made and delivered to your specific requirements. Our Educators have a wealth of real life experience and knowledge in the Pre-Hospital field ensuring that quality training is delivered. Generally this course is designed to provide students with an overview of common Medical and Trauma related emergencies giving the student confidence to provide immediate assistance to a victim. A wide range of topics will be covered including CPR and AED use with time allocated for practical skill demonstration and practice.

Wounds and Bleeding

•    Types of bleeding
•    Recognition of bleeding types
•    Bleeding control
•    Wound dressing 
•    Practical bandaging and dressing demonstration/ practice

Sprains and Strains

•    Limb injuries – fractures, dislocations and soft tissue injuries 
•    Neck/ spinal injury management
•    Fractures v sprains
•    Splinting/ bandaging 

Burns and Scalds

•    Classification of burns 
•    Cooling methods
•    Burn dressings
•    Scene considerations 

Medical Emergencies

•    Chest pain management
•    Breathing difficulties management

These courses are suitable for students who wish to refresh a First Aid Course or those who have no first aid training

  • A full refund will be granted if a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking.
  • If a booking is cancelled after 24 hours there will be a 50% charge and 50% of the booking fee will be refunded.
  • No refund will be granted if a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the course date.
