Peter is part of 24hr Training Solutions certified instructor team and brings a wealth of practical experience and knowledge in the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care and Fire service’s environment. To complement this experience Peter has accessed a wide range of industry specific courses at some of Ireland’s top third level institutions, which serve to enhance and consolidate his overall knowledge in these areas. This ensures Peter ability to deliver the required skills and educational components of each individual course module in a modern focused approach, which places the student at the centre of the learning process.
Peter’s Mission Statement:
As one of your educators, great care has been taken to develop and offer a comprehensive range of educational programmes to suit all levels of experience and education, with an emphasis on a student focused approach, all delivered with the backing of real life experience. My role is to aid and educate students in a friendly, organised and incremental manner, achieving the end goal of delivering knowledge and skills to students, thereby enhancing their professional competence in their chosen careers.
Kevin’s career began in General Nursing having trained in the U.K. and has now progressed to a career in Emergency Pre-Hospital Care Provision.
With 6 year’s post qualification experience in General Medicine, Coronary Care & Emergency Department nursing in the U.K. and Ireland this subsequently led Kevin to the Pre-Hospital Care provision arena and has been practicing in this environment as a Pre-Hospital Care practitioner in Emergency Care for the past 18 years. This wealth of practical experience in both these areas as well as a sound related knowledge base ensures that training is both knowledge and practice based.
Ensuring that learning takes place is always the goal of any teaching or tutorial session and this is aided by Kevin’s experience as well as his having completed an Educator programme within a 3rd level Irish Institute and gaining experience teaching within that Institute. Kevin strives to ensure students obtain knowledge, understand that knowledge and can apply it to their work practices in all sessions that are taught.
